Bermagui
Bermagui
Bermagui is marine biodiversity hotspot thanks to the close proximity of the continental shelf which is located only 20-kilometres away from port.
The town is well-known as a deep-sea fishing mecca and its abundant waters attract a plethora of marine life and of course whales. Nearby Barunguba (Montague Island) is home to large colonies of little penguins and Australian fur seals that frequent the surrounding region.
Our Bermagui trips depart the calm waters of scenic Bermagui Harbour and it’s only a short 5-minute cruise until we enter the stunning waters of the Pacific. We may travel north towards the spectacular Murunna Point headland and Wallaga Lake, or head south past the colourful cliffs towards Baragoot Beach. The ever-present views towards Guluga mountain in the north make for a spectacular backdrop.

On board Sensational II
Adventure vessel
14m shallow draft tourist vessel
50 pax capacity
Sensational II is a shallow draft tourist vessel, 14 meters in length and in survey to carry 50 passengers. On most tours we limit this to 40 people to ensure a little more room for everyone. With three 425hp Yamaha engines she is fast, comfortable and fun!
She does have an onboard toilet and a canopy to keep the sun off. But you may get wet from salt spray and a warm and weatherproof jacket is important to keep warm in the wind. Rest assured you will have a smile on your face – it is invigorating!
She is fantastic for dolphin and whale watching, and the dolphins and whales love her! You will love her too – she helps you to get up close and personal with the ocean and its amazing wildlife.
Please note we do not recommend our Bermagui adventure tours for children under the age of 4 years. Please book one of our Eden cruises instead.
